Valerie is unique in her ability to design and draft architectural features allowing her to work comfortably with architects, contractors and homeowners. From initial planning stages through construction to the final interior design details, Valerie provides the necessary leadership to keep the project moving within budget.
Valerie has thought about design for as long as she can remember. "My parents built a home when I was 6 years old and I found everything about the process fascinating," she says. "From that time forward, I began to make notes and sketch what worked and what didn’t in all the homes and spaces I visited."
Valerie earned a Drafting and Design degree from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, worked for nine years in display and graphic design and has spent the last eighteen years in her dream job, residential and commercial interior design. "My clients often tell me they appreciate the drawings I present, drawn to scale, so we aren't just talking about ideas; we're looking at them together."

The attention to detail and Valerie’s ability to have a “vision” early on during the construction process resulted in a well thought out, practical and beautiful work environment for our employees and visitors to enjoy. All who visit comment on what a warm and fabulous work environment we have the privilege to work in each and every day and we thank Valerie for her talent, high expectations and level of ownership that she took throughout the project."
